Rolex Air-King
The Rolex Air-King is a tribute to the British Royal Air Force. The Air-King is the watch for enthusiasts as well as for pilots all over the world. This is thanks to the 40 mm case made of Oystersteel, the characteristic black dial, the Oyster bracelet and the Oysterclasp clasp.
The Rolex Air-King was developed as a tribute to pilots and their courage during the Second World War. The first Air-King watch was born in 1945 and consisted of a combination of functions from different aviation watches. All these functions were combined in one watch.
TheRolex Air-Kingwas originally part of a collection of aviation watches at the launch, namely the Air-Lion, Air-Tiger and Air-Giant. However, the Air-King is the only one that has stood the test of time.
