A legend among watches – The last Hulk from 2020

At Lifetime Watches, we are proud to have secured one of the most iconic modern Rolex models: the Rolex Submariner 116610LV, better known as the "Hulk". And this example is extra special: it comes from 2020 – the very last production year of this now discontinued model.

The Submariner Hulk is beloved by connoisseurs for its striking green sunburst dial combined with the green ceramic bezel. No other Submariner model exudes as much character. This color scheme was produced only for a limited period (2010–2020), making it already a modern collectible.

The Oyster Perpetual Submariner is an icon among dive watches. The Submariner was launched in 1953 and was the first dive watch to be waterproof to a depth of 100 meters. After the invention of the Oyster in 1926, the world's first waterproof wristwatch, the Submariner was the second major breakthrough in technical developments of water resistance. 

The current Submariner is still fundamentally the same watch as the original launched more than half a century ago. Moreover, the Rolex Submariner has been the blueprint for contemporary sports watches since its introduction in 1953. Almost all dive watches existing today are influenced by the Rolex Submariner. An important part of the lasting success of the Submariner is the fact that the Rolex Submariner has retained its robust and sporty appearance all these years. At the same time, it has always been refined enough to wear at, for example, a formal dinner or board meeting.
